The project implements ZigBee technology to remotely control the speed of a DC motor. It uses an Infra-Red Sensor to measure the motor’s current speed and feeds the data to an ARM7 Microcontroller. Unlike traditional methods, the speed calculation is done without a frequency-to-voltage converter. The system ensures precise motor control within a ±5 rpm tolerance.
