TV remotes have evolved from basic controls to multimedia centers. In our project, we aim to control household devices like lights and fans using any normal remote found at home. The remote communicates wirelessly through infrared signals, and a microcontroller decodes the information to control the devices. This system enables us to operate appliances like TV, AC, DVD players, and motors with ease using a TV remote. LEDs can also be controlled using this setup.
